Students in high school FACS classes are in the middle of our foods unit. We will begin cooking next week. We are learning the different recipe terms, abbreviations and cooking methods now.
Students in foods class just finished our egg unit. We made different meringues. We had baked alaska, meringue cookies and a meringue shell served with fruit.
Child Development students are learning about pregnancy. Next week we will begin taking the baby think it over simulators home.

Middle School Classes
We switched classes again at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Students in FACS for the third quarter finished up with their cooking labs last week. They did a fine job- so parents have them make you some home-made biscuits or cookies!
New students this quarter, make sure you return your class rule sheet by Friday. We will begin with a unit on what makes us unique. We will discuss the influences of heredity vs. environment, personality, experiences and family. Our next unit will be a child development unit and students will get to care for the baby think it over simulator!

FCCLA State Convention
FCCLA state convention is March 29 - 31. The total amount due must be paid before leaving. See me if you are not sure how much more you owe.
